The 18th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship runs from 9 to 21 November 2026 at Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, KarloBag reported, citing the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation. The programme spans 13 days and the prize fund is AED3 million, according to WAM.
The schedule is split by category: amateur on 9 and 10 November, para jiu-jitsu on 10 November, youth from 11 to 13 November and the festival divisions, including children, from 14 to 16 November. Masters compete on 17 and 18 November, and the professional divisions close the event from 19 to 21 November.
The previous edition drew more than 10,000 athletes from over 130 countries, and organisers are aiming for about 12,000 this year. The championship is the final event of the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro tour, where athletes collect ranking points at earlier tournaments.
The organising committee is led by Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, vice president of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, who called it one of the most prestigious events in jiu-jitsu. Fabric Jiu-Jitsu notes that the stream for the pro days had not yet been announced.
