Coca-Cola Arena Dubai guide: metro, parking, bag policy and entry rules
What to know before a show at the 17,000-capacity arena in City Walk, from the nearest metro stop to the bag size limits.

Coca-Cola Arena is in City Walk, Dubai, and holds up to 17,000 people. It opened in June 2019, with Russell Peters headlining its first weekend, according to The National. The next big nights include Nancy Ajram on Saturday 24 October and Shaan on Sunday 25 October.
The nearest metro stop is Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall on the Red Line. The National describes a walk of three to four minutes, with a manned crossing over Al Albaany Street into the arena plaza. The arena lists Red Line hours of 5am to midnight from Saturday to Wednesday, to 1am on Thursday, and 10am to 1am on Friday, so check the last train if your show ends late.
Taxis drop off directly in front of entrances A, B and C, and there is no valet. Parking is ticketless and run by Parkonic: your number plate is your ticket and fees go to your Salik account by default. The arena says spaces are limited, first come, first served, and that rates can change on event days, so public transport is the safer bet for sold-out shows.
Backpacks are not allowed. Seated guests can bring a small bag up to 30 x 30 x 15 cm, while standing ticket holders are limited to a sling-style bag of about 15 x 20 cm worn on the body. Larger bags can be left at the Prohibited Items Kiosk outside for a fee. Bottles, outside food and drink, laptops, selfie sticks, cameras and strollers are also banned.
Inside, the arena is fully cashless and takes Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with more than 35 food and drink outlets. Re-entry is not allowed once you leave, apart from the designated outdoor smoking areas. Every guest needs a ticket, babies included, and the arena's own pages give different age cut-offs for children, so check the rules on your event listing. The box office sits between entrances C and D.
