Dubai Safari Park Season 8: what's new after the 12 October reopening
144 animals were born last season, and a new four-hour Royal Safari Experience has been added.
Dubai Safari Park reopened for its eighth season on 12 October 2026 under the theme "Live More Wild Life", The National reported. The park is in Al Warqa 5 and closes for the hottest months each year.
The summer closure focused on animal welfare, including climate-controlled habitats and veterinary care, along with upgrades to the park's zones and wildlife villages, Gulf News reported.
The park had a busy breeding year: 144 animals were born last season, including Salam, a southern white rhino, and Zuri, a giraffe. New this season is the Royal Safari Experience, a four-hour private visit for groups of up to ten, initially sold through travel trade partners.
Dubai Safari Park is a member of the world and European zoo associations, WAZA and EAZA. It is one of several outdoor attractions that reopened in October, alongside Global Village, Dubai Miracle Garden and Dubai Parks and Resorts.
