Doors open at 7pm and the performance starts at 8pm, according to Platinumlist, which shows the concert as sold out.

Al Marzooqi is described by Platinumlist as the UAE's first professional female Emirati cellist. She has played with the Dubai Chamber Orchestra, the Emirates Community Symphonic Orchestra and the all-female Firdaus Orchestra, and Arab News reported on her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York.

The programme travels from Baroque works by Bach and Vivaldi through Brahms to pieces and song arrangements by Schubert, Saint-Saëns and Rachmaninoff, closing with themes by Ennio Morricone and George Gershwin.

Her partner, Sooyeon Jun, is a Seoul-born collaborative pianist based in Abu Dhabi. The recital is for ages 10 and over, and late arrivals are only admitted during a break, the listing says.
