Going to UFC 333? Your Etihad Arena guide: parking, getting there and bags
How to get to Yas Island from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where to park and what you can bring into the arena.

Etihad Arena sits on Yas Bay, on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, and holds about 18,000 people. On a fight night like UFC 333 on Saturday 24 October, the roads around it get busy early.
Getting there: it is about 25 minutes by car from central Abu Dhabi and around 1 hour 15 minutes from Downtown Dubai. Taxis, Careem and Uber all drop at the arena. Buses are the cheapest option but the slowest: from Abu Dhabi, start at the bus terminal by Al Wahda Mall; from Dubai, Al Ghubaiba or Jebel Ali bus station, then change for Yas Island.
Parking: there is free parking at the Yas Bay waterfront car parks, about a 7-minute walk away, and underground parking linked to the arena and the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island. Valet is available. The closer car parks fill up, so plan to arrive about two hours before the start.
Inside: the arena is cashless, so bring a card or phone payment. Bags bigger than 30 x 30 x 5 cm are not allowed and there is no bag storage, so travel light. Before the fight, the Yas Bay boardwalk and Pier 71 have plenty of places to eat.
Rules can change for each event, so check the arena's page for UFC 333 before you leave.
