Evloev says he is in his prime after his best camp before UFC 333
The unbeaten Russian says the title shot against Volkanovski has come at exactly the right time.

Movsar Evloev says his first UFC title shot has arrived at the right moment. Speaking to Sherdog's Mike Bohn, in comments reported by The Body Lock on 13 October, the unbeaten Russian said simply: "This is my best camp."
Evloev, 32, faces Alexander Volkanovski for the featherweight title in the main event of UFC 333 at Etihad Arena on Saturday 24 October. "The title fight has come at the best time. Because now is my prime," he said. He added that he feels he has more power this year than before and does not feel tired at 32.
He was respectful about the champion but clear about his goal, saying "this is my time". In earlier comments first reported by MMA Junkie and carried by Sport Mail in September, he said he was not afraid of Volkanovski's boxing and was ready to take him down a hundred times if that is what winning required.
The confidence has a record behind it. Evloev is 20-0 and has won all ten of his UFC fights on the judges' scorecards, most recently against Lerone Murphy in London in March. Volkanovski is 28-4 and kept the title in February with a unanimous decision over Diego Lopes in Sydney.
The co-main event is the bantamweight title trilogy between Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili. Both title fights take place on the same night at Etihad Arena.
