Imagine Dragons at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: Saturday 5 December after-race concert
The Grammy-winning band headline qualifying night on Yas Island, with entry for Grand Prix ticket holders.

Imagine Dragons headline the Saturday after-race concert at the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 5 December, the night of qualifying at Yas Marina Circuit. The show is part of the Yasalam programme, and The National, Khaleej Times and Gulf News all reported it will take place at Etihad Park on Yas Island.
Entry is for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders only, so the race ticket is also the concert ticket. Golden Circle upgrades, which come with guaranteed access and a spot closer to the stage, are sold to ticket holders on top of that.
Fronted by Dan Reynolds, the Grammy-winning band are known for “Radioactive”, “Demons”, “Believer” and “Thunder”. They broke through with “It's Time” in 2012, and The National notes that “Radioactive” is one of the best-selling rock songs in digital history.
This will not be their first Abu Dhabi show. They played Etihad Arena on 26 January 2023 on the Mercury World Tour, a sold-out night that The National said filled the 18,000-capacity venue. Their most recent studio album, Loom, came out in June 2024.
Saturday is one of four after-race nights. Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson are billed for Thursday 3 December, Alex Warren is the first act confirmed for Friday 4 December, and The Chainsmokers and The Script close the weekend on Sunday 6 December.
David Powell of organiser Ethara called the band “a fantastic fit for Yasalam”, The National reported. Last year the race weekend drew 339,000 fans, according to Gulf News.
