Power Slap 25 lands in Abu Dhabi the night before UFC 333
Dayne Viernes and Dumpling run back their super heavyweight title fight at Space42 Arena on Friday 23 October.
Fight week in Abu Dhabi starts a night early. Power Slap 25 takes place at Space42 Arena on Friday 23 October, the evening before UFC 333 at Etihad Arena.
The main event is a rematch for the super heavyweight title. Dayne "Da Hawaiian Hitman" Viernes beat Dumpling by majority decision at Power Slap 13 in June 2025 and has since defended the belt against Makini Manu. Dumpling comes in off a knockout of David Zales in Serbia.
The co-main event is a lightweight fight between No. 1 Dakota McGregor and No. 3 Reiley Montoya. Also on the card: unbeaten Louis Robinson of the UK against India's Jujhar Singh at heavyweight, and Peter Truchlik against Merlis Muusikus at middleweight, according to What's On.
Power Slap CEO Frank Lamicella called Abu Dhabi Showdown Week "the biggest week in combat sports", speaking to Arab News. The event also streams free on Power Slap's YouTube channel.
