Riverdance 30th anniversary tour comes to Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi, in November 2027
The Irish dance show's first UAE visit is now listed for 19 and 20 November 2027, after first being announced for this autumn.

Riverdance is coming to Etihad Arena on Yas Island for two nights, Friday 19 and Saturday 20 November 2027, according to Live Nation Middle East and FACT Magazine. FACT reports that it will be the show's first appearance in the UAE.
The run was first announced for 31 October and 1 November 2026, the dates Aletihad reported and Visit Abu Dhabi still lists. Live Nation's event page now carries 19 to 20 November 2027 in its header, so check the date on any booking.
Riverdance began as the interval act at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest and grew into a full-length production that blends Irish dance with global influences. Its score by Bill Whelan won a Grammy Award, and the show is produced by Moya Doherty and directed by John McColgan.
The 30th anniversary edition reworks the original with new choreography, new costumes and updated lighting, projection and motion graphics. It also introduces what the producers call The New Generation: young dancers, many of them born after the show first premiered in the 1990s.
Live musicians and singers perform the score on stage throughout. Live Nation Middle East presents the Abu Dhabi dates, with FACT Magazine as media partner.
