Tarkan's Kuantum 51: the latest album behind his Abu Dhabi debut
His first album in seven years, released in 2024, sets the tone for the Turkish star's Etihad Arena show on 27 November.

Tarkan plays his first Abu Dhabi concert at Etihad Arena on Friday 27 November, with FACT Magazine listing a 7pm time. Gulf News expects the show to blend his hits with the sound of his latest era, and that era is Kuantum 51, his most recent studio album.
Released on 14 June 2024, Kuantum 51 is his 11th studio album and his first in seven years, following 10 in 2017. Habertürk noted that the title refers to his age at the time, 51. Tarkan produced the record himself, and Wikipedia puts its reported cost at 20 million Turkish lira.
The album has 12 tracks: Yo, İllallah, Olay, Şerbetli, Müteşekkir, Darmaduman, Ayrılık Töreni, Kalpte Savaş, Çınar, Enseyi Karartma, Sorma Gitsin and Vatanımsın. According to Anadolu Agency, carried by Sözcü, Tarkan wrote the lead single Yo, while other songs came from writers including Aysel Gürel, Günay Çoban and Güler Özince, who wrote Müteşekkir.
The rollout reached the Arab world too. A statement from his PR firm, reported by Anadolu Agency, said Anghami put the album on the cover of its New Turkish playlist across the Middle East and North Africa, and that Spotify featured it on its homepage in Germany, the US, the Netherlands and Mexico.
Turkish critics were split. Hürriyet's Sinem Vural praised it as contemporary pop, Sabah's Yüksel Aytuğ singled out Müteşekkir and Darmaduman, and Habertürk's Emin Arslan picked Ayrılık Töreni and Enseyi Karartma as standouts. Songs from the album featured on his 2025 European tour.
Expect the classics as well. FACT names Şımarık, Şıkıdım, Kuzu Kuzu, Dudu and Yolla among the songs that made him famous, and Ramy Sabry plays the same arena the following night.
