The Chainsmokers and The Script close the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday 6 December
Two acts share the final after-race concert of the F1 season on Yas Island, straight after the chequered flag.

The Chainsmokers and The Script play the last after-race concert of the 2026 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday 6 December, after the chequered flag on the season finale. The official Grand Prix site lists the show at Etihad Live, and The National reported that the two acts will play separate sets.
The Chainsmokers are the American duo Alex Pall and Drew Taggart. Their hits include “Closer” with Halsey, “Don't Let Me Down”, “Paris” and “Something Just Like This” with Coldplay. In May 2026 they released the five-track EP Love Is Kind with Swedish singer Oaks, and the official announcement notes they played the main stage at Tomorrowland this year.
The Script are the Irish band led by Danny O'Donoghue, known for “Breakeven”, “The Man Who Can't Be Moved”, “For the First Time” and “Hall of Fame”. Their eighth studio album, The User's Guide to Being Human, came out in August 2026 with the single “Man in the Arena”.
Both acts have played the UAE before. The Chainsmokers made their regional headline debut at RedFestDXB and played White Beach at Atlantis, The Palm in 2022. The Script performed at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre in 2025, their first UAE show since founding guitarist Mark Sheehan died in 2023.
As with every after-race night, entry is for Grand Prix ticket holders only, with Golden Circle upgrades for a place nearer the stage. David Powell of organiser Ethara said there is “nothing quite like Sunday” at the after-race concerts.
