Antonelli can clinch the F1 title in Austin, six weeks before Abu Dhabi
Kimi Antonelli leaves Singapore 102 points clear. If he beats George Russell by 24 points at the US Grand Prix, the title is his before the Yas Marina finale.

Kimi Antonelli heads to the United States Grand Prix in Austin on 23 to 25 October with 340 points and a 102-point lead. George Russell is second on 238, Lewis Hamilton third on 229, Max Verstappen fourth on 221 and Charles Leclerc fifth on 215, according to Grande Prêmio's standings after Singapore.
Austin has no sprint, so 25 points are on offer. After that, five races remain, worth up to 125 points. To be sure of the title on Sunday 25 October, Antonelli needs to leave Texas at least 126 points clear of everyone.
Against Russell that means outscoring him by 24 points in Austin. A win alone is not enough: Grande Prêmio notes the other results matter too, and the figures are provisional until the official classification.
If the title is settled early, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 4 to 6 December becomes a celebration lap for the new champion. If not, Yas Marina could still decide it. Either way, race tickets include the after-race concerts on Yas Island.
