UFC 333 fight week in Abu Dhabi: what to expect before Volkanovski vs Evloev
Open workouts, weigh-ins and fan events usually fill the week before an Etihad Arena card. Here is how the last one ran, and what is confirmed so far for 24 October.

UFC 333 takes place on Saturday 24 October at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. Alexander Volkanovski defends the featherweight title against unbeaten No. 1 contender Movsar Evloev, and Petr Yan meets Merab Dvalishvili for the bantamweight title in the co-main event.
Experience Abu Dhabi says open workouts, weigh-ins and press events are a regular part of fight week, but exact dates, times and places for UFC 333 have not been announced yet.
The last Abu Dhabi card, the UFC Fight Night on 25 July, gives a good idea of the shape. Open workouts ran at Yas Mall three days before the fight, a free UFC fan experience ran at Yas Mall all week, and the ceremonial weigh-ins and a fighter Q&A took place at Etihad Arena on the Friday, with doors at 4pm.
If UFC 333 follows the same pattern, expect workouts around Wednesday 21 October and ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday 23 October. We will update this page when the official schedule is out.
Fight week also overlaps with Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, and Russell Peters plays Etihad Arena the night after the fight, on Sunday 25 October.
