Dubai Parks and Resorts and Hatta Resorts are open for winter: what's new
Legoland, Motiongate and Real Madrid World are back, and Hatta adds restored heritage trailers.
Dubai Parks and Resorts on Sheikh Zayed Road reopened for the new season on 7 October after a closure of more than six months, The National reported. Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World, Legoland Dubai, with more than 40 rides and attractions, and The World of Riverland are all open again.
Riverland has added bowling and Lamborghini racing simulators this season. Across the resort, visitors can expect rollercoasters, family rides, movie-themed attractions and football-themed experiences, according to Gulf News.
In the mountains, Hatta Resorts and Wadi Hub reopened on 28 September for their ninth season, with hiking and mountain biking back on the menu. New this year are two restored heritage trailers: the 1958 Coach, a 23 square metre stay for two, and Route 1948 at 15 square metres. Two Premier Lodges now have private plunge pools for the first time, and Caravan Hatta, overlooking Hatta Dam, opens later in the season.
Hatta is about a 90-minute drive from Dubai, The National notes. In December, the Dubai Shopping Festival adds a DSF X Hatta Wadi Hub programme with food pop-ups, an outdoor cinema and free family activities, What's On reported.
