Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to Abu Dhabi: Azkaban and Goblet of Fire
The UAE National Orchestra plays two full Harry Potter scores live at Etihad Arena on 5 and 6 February 2027.

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to Etihad Arena on 5 and 6 February 2027. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban screens on the first night and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on the second, which Khaleej Times describes as a first double feature of the series in the UAE.
Each film plays on a 40-foot screen while the UAE National Orchestra performs the full score live, in sync with the action. John Williams' score for Prisoner of Azkaban earned an Academy Award nomination, and Patrick Doyle's Goblet of Fire score won the International Film Music Critics Award.
The series made its Abu Dhabi debut in 2025, which FACT Magazine says featured Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. Nicolas Renna, CEO of Proactiv Entertainment, called the response to that debut "incredible," Khaleej Times reported.
Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and CineConcerts created the series, which premiered in 2016 and has since staged more than 3,000 performances in 48 countries for over 4.5 million fans. Justin Freer, president of CineConcerts, is its producer and conductor.
The February dates follow a run of film concerts at the arena in December, with Disney's Encanto, Frozen and The Lion King in concert and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Khaleej Times says the Abu Dhabi shows form part of the series' global 25 Years of Magic celebration.
