How to get to Expo City Dubai for concerts: metro, journey times and last trains

Practical tips for Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre and Jubilee Park, from Blue on 25 October to Dopa World in December.

Guides

Expo City Dubai has two concerts on the calendar soon: Blue at Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre on Sunday 25 October, and the Dopa World festival at Jubilee Park on 18 and 19 December, according to Gulf News and Platinumlist.

The simplest way there is the Dubai Metro Red Line. Take a train towards Expo City on the Route 2020 branch and stay on to the final stop, Expo City station, which sits inside the site near Al Wasl Plaza and the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Propertyfinder explains. No change of line is needed.

Propertyfinder estimates the ride at 16 to 20 minutes from Jabal Ali, 25 to 30 minutes from Dubai Marina, 40 to 45 minutes from Downtown and 55 to 75 minutes from Deira or Bur Dubai, with trains every three to six minutes at peak times. The longest journeys cost about AED 7.5 with a Nol card.

Check the closing time before an evening show. Propertyfinder lists metro hours of 5am to midnight Monday to Thursday and Saturday, 5am to 1am on Friday, and 8am to midnight on Sunday, and advises confirming on the RTA app. Expo City also has parking, taxis and an RTA bus stop, according to its website.
