Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson open Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week on Thursday 3 December
The Scottish singer and the Swedish pop star play separate sets on the first night of the after-race concerts.
Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson open the 2026 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after-race concerts on Thursday 3 December, the night before track action starts at Yas Marina. Fact Magazine reported that each will play a separate set, at Etihad Park on Yas Island.
Capaldi is a Scottish singer-songwriter known for heartbreak ballads and dry humour on stage. His breakthrough hit "Someone You Loved" went to number one in the UK and the US, earned a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year and won Song of the Year at the 2020 BRITs. His 2019 debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, spent six weeks at the top of the UK albums chart.
He is not new to Abu Dhabi. Capaldi headlined Saadiyat Nights on 17 January 2026, and the official announcement describes the December date as a return to the city. Fans can expect "Someone You Loved" and "Before You Go".
Larsson is a Swedish pop singer who started performing as a child. She is known for "Lush Life" and "Never Forget You", and her collaboration "Symphony" with Clean Bandit was her first UK number one. Her fifth album, Midnight Sun, brought her a first Grammy nomination.
Entry to the after-race concerts is for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders only, with Golden Circle upgrades sold separately for a spot nearer the stage. The rest of the week brings Alex Warren on Friday, Imagine Dragons on Saturday and The Chainsmokers and The Script on Sunday.
