Abu Dhabi Grand Prix grandstands explained: Main, North, West and Abu Dhabi Hill
Where each Yas Marina Circuit grandstand sits and what you can expect to see from it on race weekend.

Yas Marina Circuit has five main grandstands plus a general admission area, and your seat shapes the whole race weekend. Gulf News notes that the grandstands are covered and have big screens, with access to fan zones, food stalls and merchandise areas.
The Main Grandstand runs along the start and finish straight. It is the place for the grid, the start, pit stops and the chequered flag, and GP Destinations says some sections face the podium and the leading teams' garages. The trade-off is less overtaking in front of you than at the corners.
The North Grandstand wraps around the hairpin and is the largest permanent stand at the circuit. GP Destinations points out that the after-race concert area sits directly behind it, which makes for a short walk once the cars stop, though seats at either end have weaker views. The West Grandstand, near Turns 6 and 7, is where Gulf News says fans watch cars brake hard and attempt overtakes.
The Marina Grandstand sits by the marina and is chosen as much for the view as for the racing, while the South Grandstand overlooks the fast corners and high-speed sections, according to Gulf News. GP Destinations describes both as offering wide, panoramic views of the second half of the lap.
General admission is the cheapest way in. It covers the grassy Abu Dhabi Hill and open fan areas with no reserved seat, and GP Destinations describes the hill as uncovered with big screens and little shade, next to the North Grandstand. Formula1.com says it is a five to seven minute walk from Main Oasis, or a shuttle ride from Yas Mall to stop C7 near Gates 17 and 18.
