Audi's first F1 season: Hülkenberg and Bortoleto eighth in the constructors' table
The German works team has scored 23 points so far in a year of new rules and slow progress.

Audi's debut season as a full works team has been, in RacingNews365's words, a test of patience. After Singapore the team is eighth in the constructors' championship on 23 points, ahead of Williams, Aston Martin and Cadillac, according to the RacingNews365 standings.
Gabriel Bortoleto has been its most regular scorer. He finished ninth at the season opener in Australia and took back-to-back eighth places at the British and Belgian Grands Prix, where he also reached Q3, RacingNews365 reports.
Nico Hülkenberg brings experience and one-lap pace. He was tenth at the Spanish Grand Prix after an early pit stop under a virtual safety car, and eighth in Singapore on 11 October, per Malay Mail's race report.
The 2026 rules are new for everyone, with 100 percent advanced sustainable fuel and more emphasis on electrical energy. RacingNews365 lists qualifying, tyre preparation and rear stability as Audi's weak points, especially on street circuits.
The last six rounds include more permanent tracks, ending at Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday 6 December, where Audi will be looking to strengthen its hold on eighth place.
