Cadillac's first F1 season: Bottas and Pérez still chasing a first point
F1's 11th team heads into the last six races without a point, after a Monaco near-miss.

Cadillac joined Formula 1 as its 11th team in 2026 with an experienced pairing of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez, and Ferrari power. After Singapore it is still last in the constructors' standings on zero points, according to RacingNews365.
The team came closest at Monaco. Pérez was briefly classified tenth, which would have been Cadillac's first point, before a penalty for having his front-right wheel outside his grid box at the red-flag restart dropped him to 15th, Formula1.com reported in its half-term review.
Bottas has the best finish so far, 13th in China after starting 20th, helped by four non-starters and three retirements. The low point was Austria, where a major upgrade package was undone by reliability problems and both cars retired, Bottas after just two laps.
The team-mates are close. At the summer break Pérez led the qualifying head-to-head 6-5 and the race head-to-head 6-3, Formula1.com said, though neither had reached Q2 and their joint-best grid slot was 18th. Team principal Graeme Lowdon leads the operation.
Six chances remain to score, ending at Yas Marina on Sunday 6 December. Both drivers know the Abu Dhabi circuit well from their years at Mercedes and Red Bull.
