Etihad Live (formerly Etihad Park) guide: capacity, history and getting there
Abu Dhabi's biggest open-air concert venue has a new name. Here is what changed, how big it is and how to reach it on Yas Island.

Etihad Live is the new name for Etihad Park, the open-air concert ground on Yas Island. Owner Ethara announced the change in June 2026. The venue opened in 2009 as du Arena and became Etihad Park in 2021, and Ethara's David Powell said the new name "reflects the next phase" of the venue, The National reported.
The National puts its capacity at 42,000, while Wikipedia lists up to 40,000. It offers more than 22,000 square metres of event space, a 24 m by 18 m performance area, general admission and premium zones, private suites and viewing platforms for people of determination. A multimillion-dirham revamp is planned for 2027, covering crowd movement, hospitality and viewing areas.
Past headliners include Madonna, Coldplay, Guns N' Roses, Rihanna, The Rolling Stones, The Weeknd and Eminem. It has also hosted Creamfields, Ultra, KCON and the first Wireless Festival in the Middle East in 2023. It is home to the Yasalam After-Race Concerts during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which drew more than 136,000 fans in 2025, according to Dubai Eye.
The venue is on Yas Leisure Drive, next to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Yas Island is about 30 minutes by car from central Abu Dhabi, and bus 190 runs from the city's main bus station in about 40 minutes. From Dubai, allow at least 1 hour 15 minutes by car.
Next up is BREDx on 13 and 14 November, with Central Cee and Bryson Tiller headlining the Saturday. During Grand Prix week, Alex Warren plays on Friday 4 December and The Chainsmokers and The Script close the after-race concerts on Sunday 6 December, both for race ticket holders.
