Ministry of Sound Classical at Dubai Opera: dance anthems with orchestra, 7 November
Sandstorm, Insomnia and other club classics get a 31-piece orchestral treatment in Downtown Dubai.

Ministry of Sound Classical comes to Dubai Opera's main auditorium on Saturday 7 November at 8pm. FACT Magazine reported that the show reworks club anthems for a 31-piece orchestra and live vocalists, with a sound and light production.
The programme includes Darude's Sandstorm, Dario G's Sunchyme, Faithless's Insomnia and Fatboy Slim's Right Here, Right Now. The National reports that David Mahoney conducts.
The brand behind it began as a London nightclub in 1991. Co-founder Justin Berkmann drew on his time at New York's Paradise Garage, and the club's main room, The Box, has hosted DJs including Larry Levan, DJ Harvey, Fatboy Slim and Armand Van Helden.
The classical spin-off has sold out the Royal Albert Hall in London and headlined Gone Wild Festival, The Big Feastival and Silverstone Festival. FACT says the Dubai date is presented by Dubai Opera in collaboration with Mac Global.
The concert is part of Dubai Opera's tenth-anniversary season, which also brings Benjamin Clementine on 1 November and the Bolshoi Theatre's first official UAE tour in December. The same night in Abu Dhabi, Maz Jobrani plays what organisers call his final show in the capital.
