From Akhasmak Ah to Ya Albo, the Lebanese star's journey ahead of her Coca-Cola Arena show on 24 October.

Nancy Ajram plays Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on Saturday 24 October. She has been releasing music for three decades, so here is how she got here and what is new.
Born in Beirut in 1983, Ajram released her first single at 13 and signed with EMI in 1998. Her breakthrough came after she teamed up with producer Jiji Lamara in 2002: the single Akhasmak Ah and the 2003 album Ya Salam made her a household name, and Ah W Noss (2004) confirmed her as one of the region's top stars.
Commercial success followed. She became Coca-Cola's celebrity spokesperson for the Middle East and North Africa, UNICEF named her its first female regional ambassador in 2009, and she won three World Music Awards, the first in 2008 for the album Betfakkar Fi Eih.
Many fans know her from television too. She was a judge on Arab Idol from 2013 to 2017 and a coach on The Voice Kids Arabia. In 2020 she was the most streamed female Arab artist on Spotify, according to Wikipedia.
Her latest album, Nancy 11, came out on 17 July 2025 with 11 tracks. The singles Ya Albo and Sidi Ya Sidi followed with videos in November and December 2025, Ya Albo won Best Music Video at the 2026 Murex d'Or, and the album was named Album of the Year at the 2025 People Bil Arabi Awards. The Dubai date is part of her Nancy 11 world tour, so expect the new material next to the hits.
