Dubai Opera seating plan explained: stalls, Royal Circle and Grand Circle
How the 2,000-seat Dubai Opera auditorium is laid out and where to sit for plays, concerts and comedy.

Dubai Opera's auditorium seats about 2,000 across three levels: the stalls at ground level, a lower balcony and an upper balcony, with side boxes rising up to the top level. Seat maps call the two balconies the Royal Circle and the Grand Circle.
The room changes shape between shows. Acoustic consultants writing for the Institute of Acoustics explain that the stalls seats sit on movable wagons that can be stored away while lifts turn the hall into a flat floor for banquets, and that the side boxes pivot for theatre or concert use. That is why the seat map for one event can look different from the next.
The stalls run to 26 rows, from AA to X, according to Headout's seating guide. It rates the centre stalls, seats 9 to 18 in rows CC to B, as the best view in the house, and the middle of rows C to J as good value.
The Royal Circle has seven rows, A to G, and Headout picks its middle seats, 19 to 28 in rows A to C, as the best view from height, which suits plays. The Grand Circle above has 11 rows and is the cheapest part of the house, weaker for drama but fine for concerts. Some seats are sold as restricted view, so read the listing before you book.
Lifts serve every level, and Dubai Opera holds designated spaces for wheelchair users and their companions. Trevor Noah plays four nights here on 25, 26, 28 and 29 November.
