Guy Manoukian at Dubai Opera on 11 December: the pianist's 10th show at the venue
The Lebanese-Armenian pianist marks Dubai Opera's tenth anniversary with Fairouz, Abdel Halim Hafez and jazz.
Guy Manoukian returns to Dubai Opera on Friday 11 December 2026 at 8pm in the Main Auditorium. It will be his tenth performance at the venue, and Dubai Opera bills it as a special concert for the house's tenth anniversary season.
The Lebanese-Armenian pianist and composer blends oriental melodies with contemporary arrangements. Dubai Opera says the programme mixes his original compositions and reimagined classics with interpretations of music by Fairouz and Abdel Halim Hafez, alongside international jazz standards.
Manoukian started out as a piano prodigy and has sold out Dubai Opera a record nine times, according to the venue. The National also lists the date as his tenth show at the venue.
His concert sits in a strong December at Dubai Opera, which also hosts the Bolshoi Theatre's first official UAE tour from 2 to 6 December and pianist Denis Matsuev on 16 December, per Khaleej Times.
